All teachers from GaiaTree Team are highly qualified and certified, and above all they are sincere and committed yogis. They joined their knowledge, experience, skills and love for yoga and created the unique, life-enriching TT program to be shared with their students.
MARCO BIANCO Marco is certified experienced Yoga Teacher, registered at Yoga Alliance as E-RYT 500, and honorary member of International Yoga Federation, as well as International Advisor of World Yoga Council. He is the director of GaiaYoga International TT School, GaiaTreeYoga TT and a co-founder of Sangha Yoga studio (Zagreb, Croatia). Marco met the eastern philosophies in the mid '80. Since then, in his life-experiences and his travelling around the world he had the opportunity to meet and to work with many great Teachers and Masters from different traditions. He graduated as a Yoga Teacher in Italy at the School of Yoga Ratna Carlo Patrian, the old master who first brought Yoga in Italy in the '50. During his education and research he studied, practiced and taught different yoga styles such as Iyengar, Hatha, Jivamukti, Power Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa. In 2005 he developed GaiaYoga TT program, which was fused with Tree of Yoga TT program and so became GaiaTreeYoga International TT School (RYS), in compliance with Yoga Alliance & International Yoga Federation standards. Marco is often giving workshops and retreats and is collaborating as a guest Sr. Yoga teacher on Teacher Trainings and retreats worldwide. At the moment Marco lives in Zagreb, Croatia, where he’s spreading the yoga community. KATIZA SATYA Katiza is committed Ashtanga Yoga teacher and certified Iyengar Yoga Sr. teacher with an in-depth background in Vipassana meditation and the yogi lifestyle in general. She is a co-founder of YogaTree (Amsterdam, Holland) and a co-founder of the Yoga Moves Teacher Training in Amsterdam. She studied with many great teachers and masters in Europe, America and India since 1983. The great influences in her life have been the Tibetan master Namkhai Norbu Rimpoche, yoga teacher Clive Sheridan, Sri Ramana Maharshi, her guru H. W. I. Poonja, B. K. S Iyengar, Guruji Pattabi Jois and his grandson Sharath, and Vipassana teacher S. N Goenka. Katiza travels regularly to India, Mysore to deepen her studies of yoga. She gives retreats, teacher trainings, workshops and courses throughout Europe and elsewhere. Her pleasant nature, contagious enthusiasm and warm heart inspire students to do their very best. Katiza lives in Amsterdam, Holland. SANDRA D. BIANCO Sandra is certified experienced Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, registered at Yoga Alliance as E-RYT 500. She discovered the world of yoga tradition in 1995 through Vedic philosophy teachings of her Teacher P.O. Paris. Some years later she approached asana practice and in 2005 became certified Vinyasa yoga teacher. She extensively studied Ashtanga Yoga and pranayama at Centered Yoga Thailand, and Prenatal Yoga at Istituto Yoga Milano. Sandra is grateful for the opportunity to learn from the most inspiring yoga teachers around the world. She owes her inspiration and gratitude to Lea Lalitha, Sonja Rzepski, Marco Bianco, and especially to Paul Dallaghan and Neil Barker, her beloved Ashtanga teachers with whom she regularly deepens her practice and knowledge. Sandra is co-founder of Sangha Yoga studio and GaiaYoga School, Advisor for yoga in Croatia by International Yoga Federation, as well as International Advisor of World Yoga Council. Since 1997 Sandra is certified energy therapist and P.E.M. master, and assistant at Accademia di Crescita Personale (Turin, Italy). Together with her husband Marco she leads TTs, workshops and yoga retreats around the world. At the moment she lives in Zagreb, Croatia. LEA LONCAR Lea has been teaching Hatha and Raja Yoga since early ’90. She is trained in methods of Ashtanga Yoga (Mysore Style), Integral and Sivananda Yoga, as well as Eastern philosophy, especially in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Kashmir Shaivism. Her meditation practice is grounded in the Buddhist Vipassana tradition as well as Yoga tradition through direct initiation of beloved Swami Satchidananda. Her deep interest in Yoga psychology is grounded in her academic work and research on Yoga. For several years, she has also been teaching Developmental Psychology at NTNU University in Norway that deepened her understanding of human development. Her extensive travels in India and life in the ashrams have grounded her relationship to the Yoga practice, being faithful to her respected teachers, as well as allowing creativity and openness in her transmission of yoga. Along with her family life, she is happy to serve Yoga and work of her Gurus, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Rev. Swami Satchidananda and other great Beings that she received blessings from. Being a mother of two beautiful young boys, Lea will not be physically present, but her amazing energy, knowledge and inspiration will be there through her teachings in the TT manual, as well as a silent support for the students.
